Remote Control

The recently released Wisycom Manager gives to the user full control and monitoring capability of any unit, whether it's in the local area with a direct ethernet connection as well as on the remote one using the fibre to run data together with RF. From the gain adjustment to the filter selection with Wisycom Manager you can control entirely your system directly from your computer.

This is an example of remote diversity reception with a Fiberbox3 & MFLC‐TT-‐ in the remote site and MFL‐RR‐ on the local site. RF signal on the remote site is received by a pair of antennas (MFLC can provide +12V power when needed).

The signal is filtered using the internal wide‐band tunable filter (25 MHz over 400‐800 switching‐bandwidth or other selectable FiltersHP: 410/470/510 MHz + LP: 600/700/810 MHz) optimized with gain control and modulated using the lasers.

Thanks to CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology all optical signals are combined in a single fiber. In this way, we can optimize the fiber but it also it makes very easy to have a system completely redundant.

Intercom IEM/IFB

Simply changing the mode of the MFL from "ANT" (antenna) to "IFB", the MFL commutes on an internal RF path designed to best modulate a reference IFB signals.

On the local site, an MTK952N-MS in master configuration generates an IFB signal (For local transmit) and a reference (0dBm) output that feeds the MFL optical transmitter input (in mode "IFB").

On the remote site, the reference signal is received and amplified through an MPA221 amplifier (RF power level from 10 mW to 2W ) or PAW (20dB amplifier). This way we can create a single‐frequency IFB area!

Full Duplex RF over Fiber

This diagram shows a typical Wisycom Full Duplex RF over Fiber link including two channels of IFB transmit and 8 channels of Microphone receivers cascaded. The fiber link is composed of two MFL, one in the local area (e.g. Ob-Van) and the second on a remote site, connected to two LFA receiving antennas and two LBP transmitting active antennas. This configuration gives the user two up to 23dBm(Country Regulation Dependant) carriers on the remote side for IFB purposes and a pair of diversity antennas to receive the microphones.

Multicarrier IEM distribution

To better show the unique versatility of Wisycom RF over fiber systems, consider sending 16 carriers over a remote area that can be miles away from your control room: with the combination of an MFL link and an MPA4 amplifier isn't just possible, but it's very easy too.

The MPA4 has been designed to be a plug and play unit, where the output power is controlled remotely by the Wiscom Manager thru a remote MFL.

MFL----_Front

CONFIGURABLE The MFL allow a complete configuration thanks to its four separated slot that can included either a receving wideband module as well a transmitting one in any combination, sending signals with a single patch o multiple fibers to reach different locations.

REMOTE CONTROL Thanks to its data connection the MFL can be remotely monitored and controlled by the Wisycom Manager and it's capable of transferring data over the same fiber used for the RF.

ADJUSTABLE GAIN & FILTERS The MFL includes a manually adjustable Gain which allow to compensate signal losses and mantein an optimal workflow through out the entire show as well as as tunable RF filters selection to better isolate the portion of bandwith in use

PLUG & PLAY Thanks to its smart and versatile technology the MFL is easy to be integrated into pre-existing setup with any wireless system working in the 140MHz-960Mhz bandwidth. A perfect solutions for both outdoors and indoors installations.

MFLC

MPA4

Quadruple power amplifier

MPA4_front-1

Main Features

•   Wideband operation range/ model of 470-620 MHz/ 600-800MHz
•   Highly linear for reamplification of multiple carriers without intermod: OIP3 > 50dBm
•   Powered by 110/230 Vac
•   Optional redundant 12VDC power supply available

VERSATILITY The MPA4 RF Amplifier is designed to enhance your setup performances when a multiple carrier transmission is requiered. It perfectly fit into an MFL link, where it amplify the local signals and/or allow a remote retransmission of them.

WIDEBAND The MPA4 works from 470 to 800MHz, divided in two separate optional bandwith. The first goes from 470 to 620MHz and the second from 600 to 800MHz.

HIGH POWER TRANSMISSION with its four high power RF amplifiers the MPA4 guarantees 1 Watt output power per carrier if used with four indipendent signals and up to 110mW per carrier if used with 16 carriers combined.

HIGH LINEARITY With an OIP3 higher than 50dBm, the MPA4 ensure to the user an absolute smooth RF flow, which translates into a very reliable RF solution and a massively increased coverage

MPA221

High Linearity Dual Amplifier

MPA221

Main Features

•  Wideband operation range from 470 to 800 MHz
•  Selectable power from 10mW up to 2Watts in several steps
•  Isofrequency Master/Slave configuration
